Bissell vacuum cleaners were popular since the company release its first vacuum in 1876. In this vacuum cleaner review, I would like to present Bissell bagless upright vacuum cleaner that is liked by the vacuum cleaner customers, the Bissell PROLite 17G5.

The Points That Customer Like
- It has multi cyclonic suction. Well, sound similar with Dyson vacuum, isn’t it? This technology will make the air that comes into the vacuum filter cleaner. It is because the cyclonic action spins out the dirt before entering the vacuum filter. This technology also prevent your Bissell bagless upright vacuum cleaner loss its suction. Unfortunatelly some users said that this vacuum is too powerfull, and they find difficult to control the power when vacuuming the curtain and area rug.
- Bissell PROLite 17G5 is bagless upright vacuum cleaner. No replacement bag is needed. Instead of it, the customers must remove the dirt from the dust bin. The dirt canister can collect the dirt until 2.0 liters in volume.
- This Bissell vacuum also has automatic height adjustment. But some customers beef about the work of this feature when use it on the rug. The height adjustment seem drop too low and sticks o the rug. The users should manually lift the vacuum nozzle to fix this problem.

- The drapes, stairs, and upholstery can be cleaned easier using TurboBrush. The hose of this upright bagless vacuum cleaner can be stretched until 8 to 9 feet. But some users the hose is not strong enough when it is extended.
- Almost all vacuum cleaners nowadays are equipped with HEPA filtration technology, and so is the Bissell PROlite. This vacuum has a washable pre-motor filter and a HEPA post-motor filter. So, asthma and allergy sufferer will convenient when using this HEPA vacuum. The pollen, ragweed, pet dander, dust mites and other dirt particles will be filtered 99,97%.
- Other feature that customers like is the motorized brushroll. You can turn it on and off easily. And this vacuum comes with the dirt sensor, clean filter indicator, and edge cleaning ability. The sound is not too loud and this vacuum has stylish model. The buyer will get 5 year limited warranty if purchase this vacuum.
The Points That Customers Dislike
Now it is time to tell the downside, well, the power cord is not long enough, its length is 25 feet. And the cord doesn’t have auto rewind feature. The weigh of this vacuum is 16,7 lbs, so I think it is not a lightweight vacuum (another vacuum has 9 lbs in weight). Unfortunatelly the company sells this vacuum as a lightweight vacuum.
The points that make the users disappointed are the awkward wand, and the attachment tools are not store in the vacuum. The attachment tools simply store in bag.
The Price
Well, I found this vacuum is sold in a middle price, you can purchase this Bissell vacuum not more than $200.
Conclusion: good vacuum for all floors, not true lightweight vacuum and worth to buy with the inexpensive price.
